Beaver Creek Brook Trout Restoration

Limestone sand is dumped into Beaver Creek in Preston County, November 2005.
The limestone being carried downstream where the sand will settle in the streambed, and help neutralize the stream's acidity.
The remaining pile of limestone sand awaiting the stream and rain to carry it downstream.
